Improving population health in Glasgow : managing partnerships for health improvement (phase 1) : final report

Report of a research project which evaluated the development of Community Health and Care Partnerships (CHCPs) as a means of delivering health and social care services in Glasgow City. East CHCP was used as a case study and attention was particularly focused on the clarity and acceptance of partnership working, the nature and development of inter-agency trust and the ways in which organisational/professional identity was changing in view of the unified CHCP structure.

Professionalism, partnership and joined-up thinking : a research review of front-line working with children and families

This review directly addresses the practical implications of multiprofessional and multiagency working on the front line. It draws messages from a diffuse range of literature spanning organisational theories, research and practice to offer guidance to practitioners, team leaders and educators. While relating the evidence to historical, theoretical and current policy contexts, it retains a primary interest in the day-to-day experience of professionals in social care, education, health and other areas, and in trying to improve the outcomes for vulnerable children and families.

They produce information and advice sheets to support those affected by dementia. As dementia progresses eating can become difficult for some people. Growing up in Scotland study: use of informal support by families with young children

Report that draws on data from the first sweep of the Growing Up in Scotland (GUS) study to examine the extent to which parents with young children have access to, and draw upon, informal sources of support with parenting. That is, support, information and advice which is sought from and provided by family members - including spouses, partners, parents’ siblings and the child’s grandparents - friends, and other parents.
