The focus of this review is on the reduction of gender-stereotypical constructions among pupils in primary schools. This systematic review was published by EPPI-Centre in 2002 .Systematic reviews aim to find as much as possible of the research relevant to the particular research questions, and use explicit methods to identify what can reliably be said on the basis of these studies.

Disability-related harassment: the role of public bodies - a qualitative research report

Research designed to provide detailed information about disabled people’s experiences and views of disability-related harassment and their perceptions of the role of public bodies.

It was based on focus groups and in-depth interviews with a total of 87 disabled people, recruited on the basis of having experienced disability related harassment in the previous three years.

Equality and diversity and older people with high support needs

This review adopts a ‘capability-based’ approach to equality, analysing older people with high support needs from different equality groups and highlighting relevant debates associated to equality and diversity.

The current Gender Equality Duty requires Scottish Ministers to set out priority areas that they have identified across the functions and activities relevant to Scottish public authorities and then provide an overview of progress in these priority areas by 1 July 2010. Scottish Ministers agreed two priority areas, namely: tackling violence against women and occupational segregation. This paper presents the main findings of a review of key evidence and national policies relating to tackling violence against women.
