Common assessment framework for adults demonstrator site programme: prospectus for phase 2 applications

Following the public consultation on a Common Assessment Framework for Adults (CAF) the Department of Health is launching a further phase of Demonstrator Sites to address the issues raised during the consultation, and broaden the coverage of the Demonstrator Site Programme (DSP) to provide further evidence to support the development of CAF.

In this second phase the program was widen with different IT systems currently in use, whether provided commercially or in- house, and to include regional areas of England currently not represented in Phase 1.

Scottish Executive : Child Protection Review

This consultation exercise was conducted as part of the wider Child Protection Review. It was undertaken in 2001/2002 and comprised of a questionnaire circulated to a wide range of statutory and voluntary sector agencies involved with and concerned about matters relating to child protection; and a web site that was available for members of the general public to record their views and comments on, about matters relating to child protection.

Restorative justice action plan 2012

The Home Office's Restorative Justice web page outlines the Government's Restorative Justice Strategy. Restorative justice provides an opportunity for victims, offenders and sometimes representatives of the community to communicate about an offence and how to repair the harm caused. Victim participation is always voluntary, and offenders need to have admitted some responsibility for the harm they have caused.

The public inquiry into the shootings at Dunblane Primary School on 13 March 1996 : the government response

This report sets out the government response to the findings and recommendations of the Cullen Inquiry following the shootings at Dunblane Primary School by Thomas Hamilton on 13 March 1996. Comment is made on: recommendations on the certification system relating to Section 1 firearms; police powers and the legal responsibilities of licensed gun or firearms clubs; restriction of the availability of Section 1 firearms and amendment of existing firearms legislation accordingly.
