Website of Moveable Feast which is an internationally renowned inclusive drama and training organisation. It harnesses the experiences and strengths of family members and people with learning disabilities to train, consult and present on cutting edge issues.

Moveable Feast has been providing high-profile, person-centred and community based day services for 10 years. It has been commissioned to create and present drama that gets messages across in an informative and enjoyable way, and believes that this is a good way of showing people of all abilities how they can work together.

Lesbianism (Radio 4 series: Woman's Hour)

This episode of Radio 4's Woman's Hour series looks at how being a lesbian has changed. Jenni Murray talks to Clare Summerskill about her new play, Gateway to Heaven which is based entirely on the memories of older lesbians and gay men. Their stories are an eye-opener on a time when lesbians and gay men were significantly more constrained, both legally and socially, than they are today.

An Introduction to the Case Conference

This is an interactive learning activity which allows for greater flexibility than a traditional role play. In this activity, participants have the opportunity to ‘act out’ their understanding of what happens in a Case Conference, based on their existing level of knowledge and experience. For ‘first timers’ this will be an introductory experience. This task last approximately 60-90 minutes and is suitable for groups of 10 to 20. It is aimed at newly qualified social workers or as part of basic child protection training.

Ellie - Drugs : case narrative

This is a short training scenario originally used in the context of introductory child protection training. It gives brief information from which participants are asked to identify what they are concerned about and what they would do next. The scenario is: Ellie and her partner are prescribed methadone. Their care of their children is causing concern.
