The 'Bedroom Tax' in Scotland: welfare reform committee 5th report, 2013 (Session 4)

Report on the Housing Benefit Under-Occupation Charge to the Welfare Reform Committee of the Scottish Parliament.

Delivering better services for people with long-term conditions: building the house of care

Report that outlines the key points of a workshop hosted by The King's Fund to identify ways in which the practical knowledge can be applied across the country. It describes the building blocks that make up the house of care and the strategies developed by local teams to ensure that each of the components is feasible in English primary care settings. It also outlines some of the difficulties that must be overcome to produce a fully working model.

Better Breaks: Round 1 evaluation

The Better Breaks programme awarded its first grants in March 2012. 51 grants, totalling £1,121,602 were distributed to projects across Scotland so that these projects could deliver quality short breaks for children and young people with disabilities which would be tailored to their needs whilst giving their families a break from caring.
The evaluation was based on information provided by the funded projects through their applications, their End of Grant reports, any supporting materials provided, selected telephone calls and review of the Shared Stories films.
