A Literature Review on the Existing and Recommended Service Provision and Models of Care.
This review examines the available research about both the impact of problem drug use and interventions designed to reduce that impact. It starts by looking at definitions, the extent of problem drug use, and its impact across important aspects of children’s lives. The review is intended for social care workers involved with adults – using or affected by drugs – and their children and young relatives.
Report of a study which examined the nature and provision of care by nurses and allied health professionals to children and young people with complex needs across Scotland.
Information was gathered from workforce development plans and a survey of practitioners to build up a picture of where children and young people receive care, the knowledge and skills required to provide that care and the challenges facing services.
