Report presenting the findings of research which aimed to deepen understanding of Greater Glasgow's health relative to that of regional areas in other countries by comparing health-related behaviours and health measures in Greater Glasgow with those of different European regions. The regions compared were in England, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Wales, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Spain, Belgium and Germany.

This learning object introduces you to definitions of poverty and social exclusion, key facts and figures about poverty and its effects in the UK. After thinking about meanings of poverty and social exclusion in the Introduction, you will have the chance to do a Quiz which is based on government figures on child poverty from 2004 to 2005 (because of the complexity of the data collection process these are the most recent available). This learning object also includes a series of video interviews with services users.

World drug report 2009

It also details trends in drug use among young people and discusses the black market in drugs and what the international community can do to tackle it.

Falkirk Child Protection Committee Annual Report and Action Plan 2005 - 2006
