British Society of Criminology

The British Society of Criminology aims to further the interests and knowledge of both academic and professional people who are engaged in any aspect of work or teaching, research or public education about crime, criminal behaviour and the criminal justice systems in the United Kingdom.

The Society has been in existence for 50 years and has a wide-ranging membership based here and overseas.

The Internet Journal of Criminology

Online journal of primary criminology research papers written by some of the most up and coming criminologists in their fields.

Although these criminology papers are not anonymously peer reviewed, like those in the articles section of the journal, primary research papers are reviewed and edited by the General Editor and members of the Editorial Board to ensure they meet the high standards of the Internet Journal of Criminology.

Research, Policy and Planning: the journal of the Social Services Research Group

Since its first issue in 1986 the Social Services Research Group’s journal Research Policy and Planning has been one of the key research journals in the personal social services.

The journal is devoted to publishing work by researchers and practitioners in local and central government, other statutory authorities and voluntary agencies.

YouthLink Scotland

YouthLink Scotland is the national agency for youth work. It is a membership organisation and is in the unique position of representing the interests and aspirations of the whole of the sector both voluntary and statutory.

YouthLink Scotland champions the role and value of the youth work sector, challenging government at national and local levels to invest in the development of the sector.
