Addiction Helper

Addiction Helper has been set up to address the need for treatment and offer impartial help for those affected by addiction.

As well as offering addiction treatment services, it also provides free advice and support for the families of addicts, and information about addictions and mental health issues to promote better understanding.

The national drug-related deaths database (Scotland) report 2011

Third report from the National Drug Related Deaths Database (NDRDD) for Scotland which presents data for the calendar year 2011. The NDRDD was established to collect detailed information regarding the nature and social circumstances of individuals who have died a drug-related death.

This report supplements the routine reporting of drug related deaths in Scotland by the National Records of Scotland (NRS), formerly known as the General Register Office for Scotland.

Aberlour Glasgow Bridges - full report

The Aberlour Glasgow Bridges service started work with families affected by parental substance misuse in June 2008 in the Possilpark area of North East Glasgow. The aim of the service was to develop and deliver interventions with parents, carers and children to improve children’s educational, health and well-being outcomes. This resource is the full report into research undertaken to review and evaluate Glasgow Bridges.
