Youth resettlement: a framework for action

This document sets out what needs to be done to improve the resettlement of young offenders in England and Wales. It highlights the problems faced by young people leaving custody and presents a the youth resettlement Pathways framework, its main objectives and action plan.

The Pathway calls for a more co-ordinated approach from YOTs, government departments, the secure estate and other organisations, to improve young people’s access to housing; education, training and employment; health and substance misuse services; family support; and financial advice.
