This guide draws on findings from SCIE’s 'Knowledge review 10: The learning, teaching and assessment of partnership work. There were two main elements to this review: a systematic knowledge review of international literature and research on the learning, teaching and assessment of partnership work in social work education, with an analysis of 119 papers; a practice survey of approaches to the learning, teaching and assessment of partnership work in social work programmes in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, involving analysis of programme documentation, telephone interviews and focus groups.
This guide is one of a series published by the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE). SCIE guides are one-stop shops for social care practitioners, presenting key findings, current legislation and examples of what is working well to guide and inform practice. Guide published in July 2008.
