Review of the effectiveness and appropriateness of peer-delivered health promotion interventions for young people

The aim of this review is to examine critically the claim that the peer-delivered approach is a more appropriate and effective method of promoting the health of young people (aged 11 to 24 years) than more traditional approaches. This systematic review was published by EPPI-Centre in 2001 .Systematic reviews aim to find as much as possible of the research relevant to the particular research questions, and use explicit methods to identify what can reliably be said on the basis of these studies.
