The circumstances of persistently poor families with children: evidence from the Families and Children Study (FACS)

While most research and government interest about poverty has focused on people who are currently experiencing low income, those who have a history of low-income experience have received less attention.

This report presents analysis of the persistence of low income from the Families and Children Study (a large-scale longitudinal study of families with children funded by DWP with contributions from Department for Children, Schools and Families and Department for Transport).
