European Observatory on Homelessness

Single homeless people's experiences of the Work Capability Assessment

The aim of the study was to examine homeless people’s experiences of the Work Capability Assessment. The following data collection methods were used: A survey of Crisis’ service users and those of the member organisations of Crisis’ Welfare Network; and in-depth interviews with survey participants to write up case studies that illustrate people’s experiences of the assessment.
