Report documenting the key public health challenges facing the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area and laying out priority actions to tackle these challenges. Issues discussed include inequalities in health, obesity and alcohol misuse.

Report describing a paediatric telemedicine project which was established to facilitate rapid diagnosis of children with cardiac or surgical problems at a distant centre. The project involved installing mobile video conferencing units in ten sites throughout Scotland along with a video conferencing room at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Glasgow.

Report presenting the findings of research which sought to compare adult morbidity, mortality, health behaviours and risk factors in the Glasgow area with those observed in the rest of Scotland and to assess the extent to which any differences can be attributed to the unique socio-economic profile of Glasgow.
