CETL4HealthNE : Centre for Excellence in Healthcare Professional Education

The CETL4HealthNE — a consortium involving the Universities of Durham, Northumbria, Sunderland, Teesside and other partner organisations, with Newcastle University as the lead partner — aims to develop new ways of sharing best practice in healthcare education throughout the range of health professions spanning doctors, dentists, nurses, therapists and pharmacists, in order to meet the needs of the modernised NHS and the growing and changing expectations of patients.

Leading by example : making the NHS an exemplar employer of people with mental health problems

It provides good practice examples of employing people with mental health problems and contains practical tools to help implement organisational change.

Whole systems working: a guide and discussion paper

This resource was produced by the Integrated Care Network (ICN) which provides information and support to frontline NHS and Local Government organisations seeking to improve the quality of provision to users, patients and carers by integrating the planning and delivery of services.

Key to the role of the ICN is the facilitation of communication between frontline organisations and central government, so that policy and practice inform each other effectively. The ICN is part of the Care Services Improvement Partnership (CSIP).
