Together we will change : community development, mental health and diversity

Report combining research, policy and practice gained from a project in Bradford called Sharing Voices. This project was created to help black and ethnic minority (BME) people better understand their mental health needs and develop appropriate solutions. The report is intended to be of use to those commissioning or delivering community development initiatives targeted at people from BME groups with mental health needs.

Race equality training in mental health services in England : does one size fit all?

Report presenting an historical analysis of the development of race related training and the findings of a survey of race equality training in mental health services in England. It concludes there is a need for a more strategic approach to this training which includes national standards which govern both the nature of training and the selection of training providers.
