Sixteenth of 17 lectures comprising David Clark's Substance Misuse course for 3rd year psychology undergraduate students in Swansea. This lecture looks at methods that can be used by practitioners to help the client with change. The lecture particularly concentrates on research conducted by William R. Miller and Stephen Rollnick presented in their book 'Motivational Interviewing : Preparing People For Change'. Each of the 17 lectures is linked to separately in the Learning Exchange, along with the main About Drugs website.

This resource was produced for the Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities’ Inquiry into the Mental Health Needs of Young People with Learning Disabilities. It is presented by two young people with learning difficulties who went on eight visits around the country to speak to other young people with learning difficulties.
