Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) toolkit

Local safeguarding children boards (LSCBs) have a statutory obligation to communicate and raise awareness of their activity as outlined in Working together to safeguard children: a guide to inter-agency working. This includes ensuring that partner organisations, such as statutory and independent agencies and employers, are aware of safeguarding arrangements. It is also important that members of the local community have an increased understanding of the work that is being carried out to help keep children safe.

Homecare re-ablement toolkit

Care Services Efficiency Delivery (CSED) developed this toolkit to help councils looking to introduce a new homecare re-ablement service or extend or improve an existing service. It has been developed as a practical project support to councils and builds on extensive work done by CSED in compiling a body of evidence on how homecare re-ablement services are helping to appropriately reduce the level of ongoing homecare support required; and working actively with councils to identify successful approaches, learning points and best practice.

Confidence Through Evidence Toolkit

A part of IRISS's Evidence Informed Practice Portal, the toolkit provides guidance on the process of finding and using evidence for service innovation and improvement. It has four steps designed to help users acquire, assess, adapt and apply evidence in practice, and involves a number of learning activities to help improve skills and confidence in these areas.
