Statistics release: adults with learning disabilities: implementation of ‘The same as you?’ Scotland 2011

This is the report that was written about all of the information collected by the local authorities in the 2011 collection. Please note that the 2011 release has been updated in 2013; previous versions of the main report which appeared on this page should no longer be used. Changes have been made to Table 16 (page 36), but totals and percentages have not been affected. Annexes A and B remain unchanged. This includes the national and local authority annex tables.

Statistics release: Adults with learning disabilities known to Scottish local authorities 2012 (eSAY)

This statistics release publishes information on adults with learning disabilities known to Scottish local authorities. This data collection and publication is sometimes referred to as ‘eSAY’ which stands for ‘electronic Same as You’, referring to the role of these statistics in monitoring the implementation of ‘The same of you?’. Please see the background section for more information on the current policy context, including the Scottish Government’s new learning disability strategy ‘The keys to life’.

Short Breaks Fund: Round 2 evaluation report

The Short Breaks Fund represents a substantial investment by the Scottish Government in the development of short breaks’ provision. Understanding society: findings 2012

Second annual publication of findings from Understanding Society, the UK Household Longitudinal Study. 'Understanding society' is a major social science investment in longitudinal studies with potentially huge long-term implications for social science and other research and for the understanding of the UK in the early twenty-first century.
