Guide that aims to support and inform those wishing to assist others to share a personal narrative, as well as providing guidance for those considering sharing their own personal narrative.

It does not attempt to address issues raised by the therapeutic uses of storytelling.

This guide provides practical advice and information on how to weigh-up information and options for action when faced with situations in which major decisions need to be made. This guide was informed by a study of over 100 carers with proxy decision-making powers, funded by the Nuffield Foundation.

Social Networking Conference Report (2009) - YouthLink Scotland and Young Scot

In August 2009, YouthLink Scotland and Young Scot held a conference to explore how the youth work sector could engage with young people through the use of digital technologies with a particular focus on social networking sites. Through the knowledge gained during workshops and previous knowledge the delegates had, they were asked to provide feedback on a draft of this guidance produced by YouthLink Scotland and Young Scot. Additionally, feedback was sought from Tim Davies, a consultant in young people's participation, social media and social change, who provided his expertise.
